I tend to think that people unde...I agree with you. I tend to think that people underestimate the effort of bringing back Classic on the modern engine. Blizzard is likely trying to get _a_ version up and running in a stable fashion. <br /><br />After it has been out for a time, then Blizzard can see how popular Classic is. If it is very popular they can start thinking about a possible EQ-style progression server or adding transmog/achievements/etc. I could see Blizzard adding Transmog, but not to Classic directly. They could set it up so that everything you equip shows up on Live as new transmog. That way Classic retains its look, but getting, say, the Corrupted Ashbringer would let you use its appearance on other characters. (They could also just let you pay for a server transfer from Classic to Live.) Same with achievements earned.
